Mr. Jerwers      moved the adoption of the following Resolution:    

WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners is of the opinion that the flow of traffic in the court house will be at a minimum on  Good Friday, April 2, 2010, and to allow employees to attend services if they so desire.

now therefore, be it

RESOLVED, The Board of County Commissioners does hereby close the  Putnam County Court House  at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, April 2,  2010.

Mr.  Schroeder    moved the adoption of the following Resolution:

WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners is of the opinion that the flow of traffic in the Department of Job & Family Services will be at a minimum on Good Friday, April 2, 2010, and to allow employees to attend services if they so desire.

now therefore, be it

RESOLVED, The Board of County Commissioners does hereby close the Putnam County Job & Family Services Department for one half day on Friday, April 2, 2010.

Mr.  Jerwers  moved that to provide for the unanticipated revenues for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2010 the following increase in revenues is hereby approved:

10:00 a.m.

Agenda. Present were commissioners Love, Schroeder; clerk Betty Schroeder and Jim Maurer of the Courier and Tom Jeffreys of the Sentinel.

 

11:00 a.m.

Commissioners Love, Schroeder and Jerwers and administrator Jessica Trinko met with Steve Odenweller and Deb Kaufman of the Office of Public Safety and Rob Fawcett of Fawcett, Lammon, Recker, agents for CORSA insurance regarding a claim filed regarding Bernice Ruhe.

Mr. Schroeder moved to go into executive session for personnel issues. Mr. Jerwers seconded. Vote: Mr. Jerwers yes Mr. Schroeder yes Mr. Love yes.

Mr. Jerwers had to leave for a business luncheon at 11:30.

Mr. Love moved to go out of executive session at 11:55.  Mr. Schroeder seconded the motion.  Vote:  Mr. Schroeder, yes; Mr. Love, yes.

Commissioners Love, Schroeder and Jerwers met with Laurie Collins who stated the Ohio Dept. of Natural Resources opened up grants for Emerald Ash Borer.

4:00 p.m. – 4:10 p.m.

Mr. and Mrs. Glen Dickman met with commissioner Love and Mike Schroth, dog warden regarding poultry killed on their property.
