Mr. Schroeder       moved to approve the loss control coordinator job duty assignments.

Mr.   Love              moved to authorize Vincent T. Schroeder, Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners, Putnam County to sign the Subordination of Mortgage for Kathy S. Kimmel, 19144 Road M-17, Cloverdale, OH  45827 in the amount of $14,500.00 to waive the priority of said mortgage in favor of a certain mortgage to The Huntington National Bank.

Mr.   Love  moved that to provide for the unanticipated revenues for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2010, the following sums be and the same are hereby appropriated for the purpose for which expenditures are to be made during the fiscal year as follows:

Auditor Bob Benroth hosted the elected officials meeting in the lunch room. Commissioners Schroeder, Jerwers and Love attended.

Mr. Jerwers     moved the adoption of the following Resolution:

WHEREAS,  The postage machine used by county offices did not work yesterday, January 4 and still is inoperable.

and  

WHEREAS,  According to the vendor, Perry Corporation, the postage machine will not be fixed today.

and

WHEREAS,  The Board of County Commissioners is aware that mail must be sent on a regular basis.

now therefore, be it

RESOLVED, The Board of County Commissioners does hereby approve having the county offices affected use a credit card for the emergency purchase of postage  from the U.S. Postal Service in Ottawa, Ohio.

Mike Schroth, dog warden, met with commissioners Schroeder, Jerwers and Love concerning a project of a shaded area outside for the dogs.

 

11:30 a.m.

Denny Recker and Adam Cupp  and Cathy Fortman were present for the opening of  the proposal for the consulting services for health insurance. Also present were commissioners Schroeder, Jerwers and Love and administrator Jessica Trinko.

Mr.  Love    moved to accept the proposal, effective Jan. 1, 2010
