Mr. Schroeder moved to approve the rental agreement between the Putnam Co. Office of Public Safety and the Putnam County Commissioners, Putnam County Emergency Grant for the lease of a space for two trailers at 7567 St. Rt. 109, Ottawa.

Mr.  Jerwers   moved the adoption of the following Resolution:

 WHEREAS, This 10th day of December, 2009, the Clerk of this Board gave notice to the  Board of County Commissioners of Putnam County, Ohio, on the filing with her of a petition signed by Daniel J. Ellerbrock and others,  to repair or replace the existing tile.

WHEREAS, It appears to the Board that the proper bond has been filed with the Clerk, approved, conditioned for the payment of costs of notices, plus any other incidental expenses, except the costs incurred by the Engineer in making his preliminary reports, if the prayer of the petition is not granted, or if the petition is for any cause dismissed, unless the Board decides to pay the Engineer's costs from the bond in accordance with Section 6131.09 of the Ohio Revised Code.

Commissioners Schroeder, Jerwers and Love and administrator Jessica Trinko held a budget hearing with members of the Board of Elections including Karen Lammers, Shelly Burkhart, Martin Kuhlman, Marie Heitmeyer, Ann Dillinger and

Lyle McKanna.

Commissioners Schroeder, Jerwers and Love and administrator Jessica Trinko met with Cathy Recker, recorder regarding the 2010 budget.

 

10:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

The investment meeting was held in the commissioners office. Present were  commissioners Schroeder, Jerwers  and Love; administrator Jessica Trinko; treasurer Tracy Warnecke and Teresa Lammers, Clerk of Courts.

 

11:00 a.m. –11:30 a.m.

Tracy Warnecke, treasurer, met with commissioners Schroeder, Jerwers and Love and administrator Jessica Trinko regarding her 2010 budget.

 

11:30 a.m. – 12:20 p.m.

Commissioners Schroeder, Jerwers and Love met with clerk of courts Teresa Lammers, and Judge Chad Niese, regarding the decision of Judge Michael O’Malley not to run again for county court judge.

 

1:15 p.m.

1:30 p.m.

Mr. West of George Voinovich’s office met with commissioners Schroeder, Jerwers and Love concerning the 2010 county budget.

 

2:30 p.m.

Auditor Bob Benroth and deputy auditor Jeanne Selhorst met with commissioners Schroeder, Jerwers and Love and administrator Jessica Trinko concerning next year’s budget.

 

3:30 p.m. – 3:55 p.m.

Common Pleas Judge Randal Basinger met with commissioners Jerwers and Love and administrator Jessica Trinko concerning the 2010 budget for his department.

 

4:00 p.m.

Greg Luersman of the Soil & Water Conservation District, met with commissioners  Jerwers and Love concerning  David Birkemeier who cut down trees along the Ottawa River. Mr. Birkemeier cleared a section of the river and left the trees therefore creating a possibility for stopping the flow of water and the potential to cause damage to crops, etc.
