moved to approve the NSP joint cooperating agreement between Hancock
County, and the city of Findlay, and Allen County and Putnam County.

Schroeder moved to table the motion to check into sections 4 and 5 on
the agreement.

Mr. Schroeder
moved the adoption of the following Resolution:
WHEREAS, The Clerk of the Board
of County Commissioners has informed the Board that a petition praying for
annexation of certain territory in Monterey Township to the Village of
Ottoville, Putnam County, Ohio, was filed on the 12th day of February,
2009.
and
WHEREAS, Said petition is hereby
attached and becomes a part of this Resolution.
and
WHEREAS, The owners of the land, which is
contiguous with the Village of Ottoville, Ohio, requests that the
petition be approved, pursuant to Ohio
Revised Code Section 709.022.

therefore, be it
RESOLVED, The petition for annexation to the Village of Ottoville is hereby granted.
and be it further
RESOLVED, That the clerk is hereby directed to forward a certified copy of
the entire record of the annexation to the Clerk of the Village of Ottoville.

WHEREAS, Sewer District No. 1
located east of Ottawa and Sewer District No. 2 located north of Ottawa are
currently owned and operated by the Board of County Commissioners.

WHEREAS, The Board realizes that
periodically maintenance needs to be
done on said sewer districts.
and
WHEREAS, The Village of Ottawa has
the knowledge to do said maintenance.

therefore, be it
RESOLVED, The Board of County
Commissioners does hereby give authority to the Village of Ottawa to do
maintenance on said sewer systems, however, any maintenance expense over
$500.00 must have prior approval by the Board
of County Commissioners.

Glen Beutler met with
commissioners Schroeder and Love regarding his sewer bill. The commissioners
explained that the village increased their rates.

IT personnel Joe Burkhart
and Chad Irwin met with commissioners Schroeder and Love and Jessica Trinko,
administrator, and discussed the website for the engineer’s office.
3:40 p.m. – 3:55 p.m.
Rob said if there is a flood FEMA is not going to pay
for the machines. Up to commissioners . At this point lowered coverage,
commissioners are self insuring the machines for flood. Commissioners agreed.
