Mr.
Jerwers moved the adoption of the
following Resolution:
WHEREAS,
Several funds outside county general
receive the interest on their account balance.
and
WHEREAS,
Putnam County General Fund, is only
obligated to pay the interest on funds outside county general if required by
the guidelines of the outside funding resources.
and
WHEREAS, The Putnam County
Treasurer’s office calculates the interest based on the following formula:
Account balance x number of
days per month, divided by 365 days in a year x the Star Ohio monthly average
rate minus 1% with a minimum of .10%.
now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, The Board of County
Commissioners does hereby approve of the formula as outlined above.
