Minutes for Friday, March 13, 2009

 

Mr. Love moved to approve proposal # 10P03216 for  engineering & surveying services in connection with the inflow/infiltration removal from Sewer  District No. 1.  Maximum cost is $5,000.00. The agreement is with Feller, Finch & Assoc.

Mr.  Schroeder   moved that to provide for the unanticipated revenues for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2009, the following sums be and the same are hereby appropriated for the purpose for which expenditures are to be made during the fiscal year as follows:

 

Fund 076, Sewer District No. 1

P 6, Contracts-repairs……………..$  5,000.00

Purchase orders and travel requests……

CSEA………..Westfield Insurance Co., flood insurance premium $843.00;

 

Sewer District No. 1…….Feller Finch & Associates, Inc., engineering/surveying services regarding inflow/infiltration $5,000.00;

Purchase orders and travel requests……

Mr. Schroeder    moved to untable the travel request for Tim Meyer, Randy Weller, Rick Thornton and Gary Smith and the P.O. for $894.40.

Mr.  Schroeder     moved to  deny the  travel request and P.O. in the amount of $894.40.

Mr.  Schroeder  moved to approve the travel request for Tim Meyer, Randy Weller, Rick Thornton and Gary Smith to attend “police motorcycle operator training” in Memphis, TN, March 27 with P.O. for $447.20;

9:40 a.m.

Mike Schroth, dog warden, met with commissioners Schroeder, Jerwers and Love regarding a certificate of adoption that needs to be completed when people adopt a dog. 

 

10:10 a.m. – 10:25 a.m.

Leroy Barnhart met with commissioners Schroeder, Jerwers and Love regarding  the Liebrecht Ditch. He said he thought they were going to make it wider.

 

10:30 a.m.

Agenda. Present were commissioners  Schroeder and Love administrator Jessica Trinko and clerk Betty Schroeder.

 

11:15 a.m.

Tracy Warnecke met with the commissioners Schroeder, Jerwers and Love.  Jessica Trinko and Brenda Bruce were also present.  They discussed the options of having a drop box available to the general public to use for payment options for taxes, water billing, and sewer billing and also discussed the other option of allowing residents to automatic pay (ACH).
