Mr.
Schroeder moved to approve the
agreement between the sheriff and the Village of Miller City for part-time
police protection. A deputy sheriff is to work 2.5 hours every Friday and 3
hours every Saturday. The Village will pay the sheriff $40.00 per hour for each
hour worked. Contract is effective January 1, 2009 for one year.

concrete, application of approximately 10,000 tons of asphalt concrete and a
per CY unit bid for a motorized, self-loading trenching machine. Bid items will

WHEREAS, Putnam County Job and Family Services leases from
the Board of County Commissioners office space at 1225 East Third Street,
Ottawa, Ohio.

Board of County Commissioners and the
director of Job & Family Services
have agreed that the yearly lease on said building is the amount paid each year
toward the debt on the building.
WHEREAS,
According to the records on file in
the auditor’s office, the building has a 40 year useful life.

WHEREAS, During
a recent monitoring of the Putnam County Job & Family Services it was
discovered that according to the architect the building only has a useful life of 20 years.

RESOLVED, Effective February 1, 2009, the
Board of County Commissioners does hereby agree to suspend payments made by the
Putnam County Job & Family Services until the issue regarding the useful
life of the building can be rectified.

lease agreement approved on December 15, 2008, and to enter a new lease

with the Putnam Soil & Water Conservation District to have the education
specialist in their department assist in the requirements of the grant.
