Mr. Love    moved the adoption of the following Resolution:

WHEREAS,  As allowed by Ohio Revised Code 2303.201(E)(1), the Court has determined that $50.00 shall be charged at the commencement of all civil, domestic relations and criminal cases effective February 1, 2009.

and

WHEREAS, These monies will be collected pursuant to Local Court Rule 2-A and shall be maintained by the County Auditor in a separate account to be disbursed upon an order of the Court of Common Pleas.

and

WHEREAS,  Teresa Lammers, Clerk of Courts, has requested that a new fund be established entitled “Common Pleas Court, Special Projects Fund”.

now therefore, be it

RESOLVED, The Board of County Commissioners does hereby request the Putnam County Auditor to establish a new special revenue fund entitled;

 Fund 149  -    Common Pleas Ct. Special Projects

and be it further

RESOLVED,  The Board of County Commissioners does hereby request the Putnam County Auditor to establish the following appropriation line in said fund:

                                                   149 EXP – Expenses                                           

and be it further

RESOLVED, The Board of County Commissioners does hereby request the Putnam County Auditor to establish the following revenue line in said fund:

                                                149 REC –  Receipts

Commissioners Schroeder, Jerwers and Love attended orientation at Job & Family Services.

 

11:20 a.m.

Robb Krecklow of the Putnam County Sentinel had a telephone conversation with commissioners Schroeder, Jerwers and Love concerning legal notices to be published. He set up an appointment for Friday morning at 8:30 a.m. to discuss the issue as the Lima News is pursuing  having all legal advertisements run in that newspaper.

 

11:30 a.m.

Putnam Pierman met with commissioners Schroeder, Jerwers and Love to discuss a meeting he set up to discuss this project.

 

1:00 p.m. –1:55 p.m.

Nancy Kline, Donna Campbell and Steve               of the Lima News met with commissioners Schroeder, Jerwers and Love. Also present was Gail Schumacher of the Putnam County Sentinel. Steve said purpose was asking if the commissioners to recognize The Lima News as newspaper of choice for legal advertising.

 

2:00 p.m. – 3:10 p.m.

Commissioners Schroeder, Jerwers and Love and auditor Bob Benroth and Jeanne Selhorst met to review the JFS lease with Kim Diamond, director.
