Mr.                   moved to approve of an installation of a 6 ft. fence at the dog pound. The Board understands that the project will be funded by grants/donations from Putnam Pet Pals.

Mr. Schroeder moved to table the matter to discuss the issue with the dog warden.

Mr. Love  moved to approve the rental agreement with A.O. K., 1054 S. Washington St., Van Wert, for lease of the assembly room at a cost of $40.00 per date. Term of the agreement shall be for 4 separate dates to be scheduled annually through the Board of Commissioners.

Mr. Love moved to untable to discuss the matter of the approval of a 6 ft fence at the animal shelter. Mr. Jerwers seconded the motion. Vote: Mr. Love yes    Mr. Jerwers yes  Mr. Schroeder yes.

Mr. Love moved to approve the installation of a six (6) ft. fence at the animal shelter located at the Putnam County Fairgrounds. The Board understands that the project will be funded by grants/donations from Putnam Pet Pals, and will be  installed according to the attached drawing. The proposed new fence area will be 65x35 and will be used as an exercise area for dogs.

9:00 a.m. –

Commissioners Schroeder, Jerwers and Love met with Ottawa Township Trustees Mel Lammers, Carl Rieman and Jim Leopold and maintenance employee Mike Gerding met with commissioners Schroeder, Jerwers and Love and said they want to buy some ground about getting right on way on Road M, between Road 12 and 13 on the south side of Road M.

Lyle McKanna, Board of Elections Board member met with commissioners Schroeder, Jerwers and Love and discussed the letters that  were sent to Secretary of State without his knowledge.

3:00 p.m. -

Mike Schroth, dog warden, met with commissioners Schroeder, Jerwers and Love. Vince said we were at the fair board meeting last night and discussed the proposed fence for dogs to exercise.
