POSTAGE MACHINE INOPERABLE
The Board of County Commissioners of Putnam County,
Ohio, met in regular session on the 5th day of January, 2010, at the office of
said Board with the following members present:
Mr. Vincent T. Schroeder, Mr. Travis A. Jerwers and Mr. John E. Love.
Mr. Jerwers moved the adoption of the following
Resolution:
WHEREAS, The
postage machine used by county offices did not work yesterday, January 4 and
still is inoperable.
and
WHEREAS, According to
the vendor, Perry Corporation, the postage machine will not be fixed today.
and
WHEREAS, The Board of
County Commissioners is aware that mail must be sent on a regular basis.
now
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, The Board of County
Commissioners does hereby approve having the county offices affected use a
credit card for the emergency purchase of postage from the U.S. Postal Service in Ottawa, Ohio.

seconded the motion and the roll being called upon its adoption, the vote
resulted as follows: Mr. Jerwers yes
