MAINTENANCE PROGRAM

 

 

R E S O L U T I O N

 

            The Board of County Commissioners of Putnam County, Ohio, met in regular session on the 3rd day of December, 2009, at the office of said Board with the following members present:  Mr.  Vincent T. Schroeder and Mr. John E Love.

           

Mr.   Love    moved the adoption of the following Resolution:

 

            WHEREAS, The Ambrose Kuhlman Ditch #503 (#943)  was improved privately by landowners, under the direction of the Putnam Soil and Water Conservation District Engineers. The project was completed by mutual agreement between the landowners. The engineer’s estimate for the improvement was $ 26,459.00. 

and

 

            WHEREAS,  A maintenance hearing was held this date in the office of the Board of County Commissioners. Mr. Jeff Giesige of the Putnam Soil and Water Conservation district, has stated the landowners expressed  interest of having the  project under the county’s maintenance program.

now therefore, be it

 

            RESOLVED,  The Board of County Commissioners does hereby approve the Ambrose Kuhlman Ditch #503 (#943) as a part of the  county’s ditch maintenance program.

and be it further

 

RESOLVED, Maintenance in the amount of 10% of the engineer’s estimate will be placed on the 2010 tax duplicate.

and be it further

 

            RESOLVED,  That it is found and determined that all formal actions of this Board concerning and relating to the adoption of this Resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this Board, and that all deliberations of this Board and any of its committees that resulted in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.

 

            Mr. Schroeder seconded the motion and the roll being called upon its adoption, the vote resulted as follows:  Mr. Love yes   Mr. Schroeder yes    Mr. Jerwers absent
