NEW FUND ESTABLISHED

FOR SHERIFF

 

                                                            R E S O L U T I O N

 

            The Board of County Commissioners of Putnam County, Ohio, met in regular session on the 25th day of February, 2010, at the office of said Board with the following members present:    Mr. John E. Love, Mr. Vincent T. Schroeder and  Mr. Travis A. Jerwers.

 

            Mr.  Schroeder     moved the adoption of the following Resolution:

 

             WHEREAS, In accordance with the Ohio Revised Code 311.25 the sheriff may enter into contracts with any municipal corporation, townships, villages, etc.

and

 

            WHEREAS, All payments pursuant to any such contract in reimbursement of the costs of said policing shall be made to the treasurer of the county and credited to a special fund.  Any monies credited to the fund and not obligated at the termination of the contract shall be credited to the county general fund.

now therefore, be it

 

            RESOLVED, Per the request of the Putnam County Sheriff, the Board of County Commissioners does hereby request the Putnam County Auditor to establish a new special revenue fund  entitled:

 

                      Fund 155    Sheriff Policing Revolving Fund

and be it further

 

            RESOLVED, The Board of County Commissioners does hereby request the Putnam County Auditor to establish the following appropriation lines for Fund 155:

 

                                                      155 SA  - Salaries

                                                155 FR -  Fringes

                         

and be it further

 

            RESOLVED, The Board of County Commissioners does hereby request the Putnam County Auditor to establish the following revenue line for Fund 155:

 

155 REC –  Receipts
